Armistice Day 2019 in Warwick

On Armistice Day, November 11th, marking the end of hostilities in 1918, there will be a short service at the War Memorial in Church Street leading up to 11am when the guns fell silent on the eleventh day the eleventh month.

And that evening at the County Record Office off Cape Road in Priory Park, there will be a talk by Simon Jarman MBE exploring the conflicts that continued after the end of hostilities in 1918 and some of the impacts of the Treaty of Versailles signed in 1919. 6pm – 8pm.
