There’s a chance to see and hear the band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in Warwick on Saturday 23rd June; (in 1968 the Royal Warwickshire Regiment was amalgamated into the RRF).
As part of the national series of ‘Bands in the Park’ performances through the summer, the famous RRF Band will be playing in St. Nicholas’ Park from 2.30pm. And it’s free to attend. Just turn up – if the weather is nice bring a picnic – and listen to the band.
The Fusilier Museum at St. John’s at the bottom of Smith Street will also be open for people to find out about the exploits of the famous ‘Warwicks’ in various parts of the world, and to see some of the infantry regiment’s artefacts.
