Reginald John Stubbins was born in Q2 1892 in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, the son of Henry and Charlotte Emily (nee Adams) Stubbins.  The 1901 Census shows Henry as a ‘chemist and druggist’ and that Reginald had a younger sister,  Marjorie.  The family were living at 10 Chapel Street, Warwick.

By 1911 the family were at the same address but Reginald was working at an Education Office Clerk.  This excerpt from the Warwick Advertiser shows that he was a bowler with the local Government Officers cricket team

Spennell’s Trade Directory for 1914 shows the family still living at 62 Market Place (Mellor’s the Chemist).

Reginald’s father Henry died on 17 Mar 1917.  Reginald died on the 13th June, 1918 and was buried four days later in Warwick Cemetery.  His mother, Charlotte completed the Cemetery form and listed her address as 31 High Street, Warwick.

Charlotte died in 1936 in Bournemouth but was buried in Warwick on 9 Sep 1936.
